Double booking alert????

When entering events, is there a way to get an alert if you are double booking? I have tried checking "busy" or "unavailable" when creating the event, but if I enter something at the same time, it either becomes double booked or will overwrite the previous entry with the new one. Honestly, this is a pretty basic function.

Hi,
No there is no alert or warning if you schedule an event that overlaps another. What would help here is a time proportional day view that will easily show where events conflict, which is in the pipeline.

I like the idea of a warning or alert though, if you create a new event that might conflict with an existing event. Will look into that shortly.
