Unable to add to my calendar

Have purchased both the pro and extras, it will not let me add to the calendar, have followed instruction when press the 'how' button and still won't save. Please help as I purchased this because the apple calendar does not let me add!
My phone is a 4S and runs the latest iOS

Hi Kelly,
I have seen this problem before, and it is normally down to a bad restore or incorrect iCloud settings. Have you just upgraded to iOS7? Did the internal calendar work before that?

myCal stores all the events in the internal calendar, so if you are unable to add events in the standard calendar app as well, other calendar apps are unlikely to help. You will need to resolve the underlying issue on your phone first, and that will be either attempting a restore from a phone backup, or Ive heard that enabling iCloud might help clear the problem.
