I want to keep track of Jill's 16th birthday or Bob and Mary's 25th anniversary. How to I keep these numbers updated automatically?

Hi there,
The easiest way of doing this is by adding a birthday or anniversary to the actual contact itself.

Go into the Contacts app
Find the contact and edit it
Add a birthday or anniversary (make sure you select the year)

Go back into myCal. The dates should be displayed.

Let me know how you get on!

John

Also I should mention that when you installed myCal iOS would have asked for permission to access your contacts. That was for this exact kind of feature, myCal will display any contact dates it finds with an appropriate 'age' type number.

If you said no to the iOS request, this can be changed by doing the following:

  • Go into the Settings app (not settings in myCal)
  • Tap Privacy, then Contacts
  • Set myCal PRO to ON

John
