I'd like a setting to set a default Alert time. For example, all new Events will Alert at the time of the event (or 5 minutes before etc), unless I set it to some other time. This stops dumb me from forgetting to set an Alert time. (BTW - I love the Advanced setting on Repeat events!!!)

Default alert time, no problem! It is now on my todo list and should be very easy to set.
Regarding the advanced repeat options, that you for the kind words!
