EV Not working

Hi I've just purchased EV as an add on for MYCALC but it does not seem to be there. I have the icon but it appears to be the only thing I have. Can you advise please

Eventium is a separate app to the original myCal apps, so it has its own launch icon.
Tap the Home button on your device and then look for a blue icon with the letters 'ev' within it. That is the new app.

I have the icon, it open to full screen but it just sits there unresponsive regardless of whatever I do

What iOS version and device are you using?
If you run eventium and it sticks on the splash screen, can you tap the Home button? If so, do you see a prompt asking for permission to access your calendar?
