I purchased the calendar to run independently from my existing calendar on my iPhone. I am unable to access this new purchased calendar unless I give full access to my iPhone calendar. Can you please advise how I can start this new calendar without accessing my existing calendar. Thank you

That isn't how the app is designed, but you could create a new calendar that is only visible to my app by setting a filter to hide it in the default calendar app.
