Hi Cher!
Ok that doesn't sound good, do you use iCloud at all? Or do you sync with a PC or Mac?
First thing to check, in the toolbar is a button with 4 horizontal lines. Can you tap it and make sure all the calendars are ticked.
Also, can you tap the Info icon in the toolbar, then tap 'Email log data to support'.
