holidays [RESOLVED with temp workaround]

i have mycal pro on my iphone4 and ipod4 . i subscribed to u.s. holidays which i have on my ipod and had on my iphone. i had the holidays on my iphone and then they disappeared. i tried to resubscribe the holidays, nothing. tried to restore purchases, nothing. tried deleting and reloading app from my itunes and resubscribe the holidays still no holidays. in "setting", "calender", it shows that i have u.s. holidays (subscription) and sometimes that too disappears. in "information", it say "extra pack" has been purchased. any ideas. thanks

Hi there,
Can you check something for me, in the tool bar tap on the icon with 4 horizontal lines to open the Calendar Filter. You should see all your calendars there, is the US Holiday calendar ticked? Just to be sure can you tick the option at the top for All Calendars.

hi john. all the calendars plus the top "all calendars" are checked. i even unchecked the u.s. holiday and "all calendars" separately still too no avail.

Ive been testing this and found an issue with iOS7. Can you try the following:

Add the US holidays on your phone (if it isn't already)
Go to the Month View in myCal
Go to December, do you see the xmas holiday?
Go to November
Tap the red arrows icon (top left). This will force a full reload of data

Did that solve the problem?

hello john. sorry it has taken so long to reply. i have been on vacation and i just got back. and when i'm on vacation i don't check anything except the weather. so i tried your suggestion a couple of times and still no holidays. if there is an odd ball problem somehow i'll find it. thank again, frank.

I have another user on email with the same issue, so its definitely not isolated.
If I could get one of you onto my beta team I'll be able to send out a debug version which will tell me why the holidays aren't appearing.
