May Jewish holidays be automatically added as national holidays (UK & US) can be?

Yes you can add any holiday that has been created in iCal format. A quick Google search showed me the following website:
http://www.hebcal.com/ical/
I cannot however vouch for the contents, but I hope it will be useful to you.
