All events disappeared

Please help all events have gone leaving only national holidays etc. please help.

Hi Lucy,
Can you tell me are you using iCloud? If so double check that it is still enabled in the Settings app, iCloud, Calendars
Can you check if have you set a calendar filter? (toolbar icon with 4 horizontal lines, ensure All Calendars is ticked)

I have played around in all the areas suggested and now all events are back! unsure what exactly I changed to get them back but they are and im very grateful for your help.

No Problem! Im here to help.
Do you think it might have been the calendar filter? Just a heads up, when a filter is set the icon with 4 horizontal lines has a red background to show that a filter has been set.
