App Badge "Day/Date" doesn't work

I understand you may be aware of this, but no fix has shown up in the App Store. When?

You are correct, I am aware of an issue with the badge not appearing for some iOS8 devices.
I have a fix for this (it's permissions based) that I will be releasing to Apple shortly along with a new bit of functionality Im just finishing up.
