my alerts quit working

iphone 6 plus. version 1.9.26 . my alerts for any event that i have set for "1 day before" and 2 hours before" have quit working. i have tried resetting them , tried restarting iphone, and tried deleting app. and reloaded app. but still no alerts will appear. ideas?

Hi,
myCal PRO doesn't actually trigger any events itself, it simply saves events to the internal calendar with alerts, if you have set them. It is the internal calendar that then triggers the appropriate alert.

So to be clear, are the events being saved with alerts? If so, they just aren't triggering?
If thats the case can you check the following:
    Go into the Settings app (not Settings in myCal)
    Tap Notifications
    Tap Calendar
    Ensure Allow Notifications is ON
    Tap Upcoming Events, ensure Show on Lock Screen is ON

John. Now knowing that "my cal pro" doesn't work independently of the regular calendar that made the difference. Now the alerts are working again. Thanks
