Pinch to zoom font in Month view not working

Hi.

I'm pretty sure that at one point it was possible to pinch in or out to zoom the event font in the month display. This appears to not be working now. Can it be restored please? it was a VERY useful feature.

Hi Zoogaoo,
This was actually an undocumented feature that never really worked very well and caused quite a few support emails. I removed it but I might restore it again with a config option to toggle if it can be used or not (default to OFF).

How does that sound?

John, that would be perfect. I used it all the time (depending on the length of certain event texts that I needed to read in their entirety) and it never gave me any problems. Actually, I seem to recall that it was documented at some stage, possibly in the changelog info for a particular release.

John, I know this is majorly belated, but thank you SO MUCH for readding this feature! I noticed it in an update months ago and unfortunately it completely slipped my mind to return here and thank you.

You absolutely rock and I never use any other app but yours when checking schedule. Keep up the great work.

Pinch-to-zoom doesn't seem to be working in the app anymore since I updated to iOS 11.3. How do I get to the setting?

Hi John, did you ever get this one figured out? Pinch to zoom is still not working with latest update. Not sure if it's a new iOS thing. I could have sworn there was an option you could enable that would allow PtZ but I looked everywhere and cannot find it anymore. If you've removed the feature, fair enough but I thought it was very useful indeed, especially for portrait mode and, shall we say, "heavy months"..

I have gone through the relevant code and this option wasn't transferred over from the previous code base, the app went through a major revision recently. My apologies for that.

Looking at how the new code works it should be pretty straight forward to implement again though. Let me take a look once I finish up my current batch of work.
